We are hiring for a 15 month contract Accounts Payable accountant. The position will need someone with a Secret or Interim Secret Clearance.
Daily duties would include ensuring vendors are paid in a timely manner, and provide reports with payment details, monitors Accounts Payable accrual, especially at month-end, quarter-end and year-end, to ensure accrual is accurate.
On a periodic basis, candidate will dig through financial files and reports and helping with AP disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income. Candidate will also record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy. On occasion, you may be asked to help with prepping balance sheets, P&Ls, financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports.
