Job Description :
 

We are seeking a contract Configuration Management (CM) / Engineering Change Management professional who will be working on Bill of Materials (BOMs)/drawing change management. Duties will include interfacing with Engineering / Manufacturing considering design standards and supply chain processes, creating reports and documents, working with Military standards. 


 


The responsibilities will ultimately be to ensure Configuration Management (CM) processes, are in accordance with CM plan, including CM tasks that include drawing releases of CAD models, and non-CAD product data into enterprise PDM. Maintain drawings/part data and Bills of Materials in PDM. Process drawing changes. Maintain various CM logs, such as for drawing number assignments and Variance tracking. Generate metrics from PDM. Facilitate Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and maintain meeting records.


 


Candidate will perform work supporting internal/external configuration audits, maintaining records of work, preparing progress status, controlled drawing repository using the company standard PDM tool. Incumbent will ensure electronic distribution in PDM/engineering changes ECOs and new/revised drawings to the team as well as review drawings/documentation for completeness and accuracy.


 


Required:
*3 years’ experience in Engineering Change Management/Bill of Materials (ECM/BOM) Management in a Oracle/Windchill PDM environment.


*Able to reading engineering technical drawings, working with part lists, formats, designs and manufacturing notes/build procedures.


*Strong report writing experience.
*Associates Degree


 


Pluses:
*DoD ECP processing of technical drawings and CAD models experience
*Knowledge of Military standards MIL-HDBK-61A, MIL-STD-31000; Industry standards EIA-649B, ISO 10007, CMMI Drawing standards including ASME standards such as MIL-STD-100.
