We are seeking a contract Electrical Engineer specializing in vehicle electronics and wire harness designing. We are working on optimizing the design the wiring harnesses and cable assemblies which will integrated into military ground vehicles, such as tanks and armored personnel carriers.

Daily duties will consist of specifying/design of components from requirements and work on through modeling, simulation and analysis or test that requirements are met. Will work on creating engineering documentation (specs, ICDs, design documents, and technical/test reports) and complete technical data packages. Handle cost estimating, scheduling assigned electrical design projects; work on ECOs and change proposals as well as monitoring to ensure manufacturing, and delivery of components schedules are met. Applicant will assist drafters / designers in creating clear and releasable documents.

Required:
*3 years’ experience designing electrical & wire harnesses systems for vehicles. 

*Design skills in one or more of the following: Visio Technical, Pro-E, Pro-Cable and/or CADDS 5.

*Experience using electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, meters, power supplies. 
*4 year degree in Engineering

Pluses:

*Understanding of military electrical connectors and cabling specs such as SAEJ1939 CANBus/CANalyzer. 

*Familiar with C4ISR equipment and vision enhancement systems including cameras and displays.
