We are hiring for a Fire Suppression Sprinkler Technician who will be responsible for day to day installing and maintaining building and plant fire sprinklers throughout a facility.  Typical work would include repairing and installing wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire protection piping, valves, and accessories for buildings and industrial applications to ensure it the systems as in compliance with current codes.

Daily tasks typically include cutting/assembling sprinkler piping/systems; inspecting sprinklers for adherence to fire codes/checking for code violations; perform sprinkler repair and maintenance; log repairs/maintenance into computer based systems and reporting of problems/issues significant issues to management or authorities. 

Required:

*3-5 years' of sprinkler service experience. 

*Experience in use of power and manual tools used in sprinkler maintenance / installations. 

*Skilled in reading schematics and work instructions.

*Ability to achieve various certifications (such as MD and VA certifications) needed in the sprinkler industry. 

*Must be able to work in confined spaces and on ladders with significant height.

*Able to lift 30lbs.

*Ability to drive to locations primarily in the Washington-Baltimore corridor, must have a clean diving record; will have the use of company vehicle.

This is a full time, with full benefits position.  Company will pay for licensure and certifications with sign on bonus.
