Overtime:     Yes, typically 5-10 hours per week

Shift:            1^st Shift; Monday-Thursday, 4x40 work week

Our client is seeking a Parts Inspector who will inspect incoming parts as they come into the manufacturing plant.  Candidate will inspect and ensure the parts adhere to quality and workmanship guidelines   To perform the job, candidate will need to read blueprints and interpret math and instrument readings, as well as a complete understanding of wiring diagrams. 

Required:
*1 year experience performing inspections using basic measuring tools.

*Ability to read blueprints, work instructions and interpret engineering drawings.

*Able to obtain IPC certification after starting (must pass exam, if unable to pass, contract will end)
*Pass a visual acuity test [working with microscopes] as well as and color differentiation eye exam.
*Proficient with Personal Computers, software as well as legible handwriting.

*HS Diploma

Desired:

*IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 certification 
*Knowledge of MRP/ERP and SAP is preferred.
*Understanding of single piece production.
