We are hiring for a Reliability Maintainability Sustainability or Availability Engineering who will be working in DoD acquisition and sustainment, considering logistics planning, system design support, logistics engineering revolving around new purchases/ acquisitions and life cycle costing of purchased items.
The candidate will be creating reliability predictions for mechanical and electrical design as well as Failure Mode Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Analysis, development of Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs), Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs), and various maintenance support planning.
Additional duties may include supporting program integrations doing RMA out-briefs, attending meetings [especially logistics meetings], and other Reliability and Maintainability issues.
*8 years’ experience in a Logistics, Reliability and Maintenance System Engineering role
*Good background working with level of repairs and logistic support analysis including spares modelling
*RMA, FMECA and FMEA experience; Able to design and/or improve maintenance systems.
*Able to present proposals and conduct meetings.
*Active Secret Clearance
*4 year degree
*Able to develop maintenance procedures and MRCs
*Experience with submarine systems, including sonar
