We are seeking a Mechanical Design engineer who will be working on military land based armored vehicle design structures and components. The products we are designing will include vehicle turrets, hull structures including structural mountings, welded brackets, stiffeners, doors, hatches, access panels, lifting, towing, tie-downs, engine air and exhaust grilles. Candidate will be designing and modelling centric models and drawings using Creo 4

Required:
*2 years’ experience in mechanical designing, using Creo
*Experience in structural designing & modelling; GD&T (ASME 14.5)

*GM or other automobile / truck / heavy vehicle company experience preferred

*4 Year degree

Pluses:

*Understanding of the needs for Technical Data Packages (TDP) within DoD

*Knowledge of Windchill (EPDM) and drawing library/repository systems (EDVS)
*Structures design, prototyping and production of ground vehicles
