We are seeking an electronic circuit, FPGA firmware designer who will develop designs for electronic circuit cards/boards PCB, CCAs) for complicated systems that are aboard fighter aircraft. Candidate will be working the full life cycle, from requirement development, to design, system integration (design, test, troubleshoot) for embedded military/aerospace analog/digital/mixed signal multi-layer circuit card assemblies/applications.

The candidate will be working with, on a daily basis, hardware architecture, component selection, schematic capture, reliability analysis (derating, thermal, signal integrity, power integrity, stability, overstress), design verification, system integration, and qualification testing for target aircraft.

Required:
*15 years of FPGA PCA/CCA digital circuit design, analysis, troubleshooting and testing, particularly in a lab environment.
*Experience with VHDL, Verilog or System Verilog in conjunction with Hardware programming
*Good requirements development skills
*BSEE or equivalent

Pluses:
*Simulations tool experience (i.e. Xilinx Vivado, Microsemi Libero, or Mentor QuestaSim)
*Basic programming skills in Perl, VB or and C, C++
*FPGA verification and validation using DO 178C, 254 verifications.
*High Speed, RF design
*Familiar with Microsemi FPGAs
*Design tool experience with Cadence Schematic Capture or PCB layout Allegro
