Candidate will be working with Government contract data including CDRLs, BOMs, estimates, plans, design records, etc. and creating reports, managing accounting and financial records that coincide with budgets, Government obligations, forms, schedules. Candidate will compare budgets with actual expenditures, conduct trend [historical] analysis, perform expense modelling and conformance with FAR and other Government contracting rules and regulations.  Candidate will use GFEBs system on a daily basis for funds management, reimbursables, spending chain, cost objects, etc. 

Candidate may conduct audits and contract close outs as needed.
Applicant will be responsible for keeping stakeholders informed on the status of project, from compliance, expense, obligation and disbursement goal perspectives. Monthly reporting and briefings will be part of the duties of the periodic duties of the position.

Required:
*2 years’ experience in budget or financial analysis within Army or other military programs

*Able to read documentation for budget analysis purposes (like CDRLs, BOMs, etc.)
*Active Secret Clearance
*Ability to work 2 days per week, on site in Aberdeen, MD, other days are teleworking.
*Finance or Accounting degree is preferred.

Pluses:

*Experience using GFEBS and associated tool sets (like DCAS, GCSS, DDRS)
