What you will be doing:
We are recruiting for a material coordinator who will be tracking assets throughout the manufacturing plant. The Material control person will be administering, tracking and updating information on the whereabouts of various Government owned parts and assets. The position will involve working with assets from the time they are purchased until the time they are disposed of or returned. The position will require a lot of data entry, pulling of reports, backing up and restoring data, using the Automated Logistics Management Support System (ALMSS).
Typical duties would involve producing ad hoc reports including: Theft/damage /destruction (LTDD), discrepancies (RODS), property in the Item Unique Identification (IUID) registry, annual tax of inventory and plant clearance, etc. Applicant will also help with assessments of compliance to published procedures, contractual and FAR/DFARS requirements, research/analyze and locating item, reconciling records as well as assisting in Government/internal, or other audits. Part of the position will potentially involve receiving, tagging items.
What skill we expect to see on a resume to perform the above duties (Required):
*7 years’ experience in asset / physical property or material management with asset tracking databases
*Background in management of valuable assets, and tracking their storage, repair, and authorization for use, as well as receipt, transfer, redistribute, and disposal of assets at their end of life.
*Experience performing periodic site inventories/audits
*Attention to detail, including inspecting labels, barcodes and reviewing orders for correctness and compliance; good data and reporting skills
*Able to gain a Secret Clearance upon starting; US Citizens only please.
*Able to occasionally assist in the warehouse storage areas; able to lift 25 Lbs.
*HS Diploma or equivalent GED
Additional skills abilities we look for:
*Knowledge of Gov’t asset databases like WAWF, WEB-CAV, ALMSS
*Familiarity working with data collection/asset tracking hardware (Bar code, RFID, etc.)
*Knowledge of applications/databases including TIPQA, Oracle, and PLM
*Active Secret Clearance
