We are searching for a Contract Cyber System Security Engineering (SSE) who will be using their Information Assurance skills to design, create, integrate and implement embedded security solutions for our DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) based systems.


Duties will include conducting assessments, certifications, accreditations, testing, verification/validation requirements, implementations, and integration of new systems against system security threats/risks within the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Candidate will decompose, allocate and validate System Security controls from NIST SP 800-53.



*Experience with weapon systems security development

*Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) or DIACAP implementations, threat assessments, and penetration testing. 
*Experience in Embedded Domain System Security Engineering (SSE)

*Active Secret Clearance; US Citizenship Required

*4 year degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.


*DoD 8570 approved baseline certification for IAT/M Level II (CompTIA Security +, CISSP, etc.)
*Software Assurance background (i.e. HP Fortify, Coverity, Klocwork)
*Familiar with various security architecture, data protection (At rest, At movement, et al)
*RMF Certification

*Experience in analyzing and researching cryptographic algorithm strategies in embedded systems and make recommendations for classified systems.
*Experience in some combination of hardware design, software design, encryption, networks, RTOS, cross domain solutions, and threat modeling 
*Ability to develop and maintain security artifacts to be used in the verification and validation of a system security design.
