Our client is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to design, prototype and support security-related infrastructure and applications.  Architect and design news tools as well as upgrading existing infrastructure. Provide security application support, including the development of automated scripts and protocols for seamless application-server interaction.

Required Skills

*8-12 years of Cyber Security experience

*5-8 years of Linux command line experience

*5-8 years of Network architecture and security principals experience

*Experience with Bash, Perl, Python and/or YAML scripting

*Experience with Networking protocols including, but not limited to DNS, TCP/IP, ARP, BGP, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, ICMP

*Extensive enterprise tool experience.

*Cisco Firepower experience

*Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of experience, Master’s Degree with 8 years of experience

Preferred Skills:                

*Previous experience programming

*Previous Network Engineering background

*Extensive experience with Kubernetes/Dockers ground up development

*Prefer candidate with 20 years of experience
