We are hiring for an electronics servo systems design engineer to work on developing requirements, designing and testing, tracking project timelines, support customer design changes and helping support proposal/bid parameters as required.  

The ideal candidate will have a technical background in designing of mechanical  motors / servos (or similar electronics), but have now moved on to more project management/support role.  Candidates who are successful in this role usually have a familiarity with ANSYS design, testing and box level testing, DC motor and servo/stepper design, client site installations, experience working with customers, working with design reviews and proposal development. 

Required:

*8 years’ experience in electronic mechanical controller design; requirements development; able to create simulations of new designs

*Experience with Control systems development (servo loops); rotary or linear actuators

*Experience in system installation and follow up installation support  

*Able to provide milestone and other reports to management*Former experience working as a design lead in projects; support of bids and proposals  

Pluses:

*Familiar with FMECA, and parts stress analysis, PWB analysis

*Exposure to 1 or more of the following: MATLAB, Ansys Tools, Altium, PSPICE
*Radiation hardened electronics design
