Position Description

Our client is seeking a Telephony System Administrator  to coordinate with network engineers. Duties may include setting up, administer, and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.

Required

*6-8+ years’ experience LAN/WAN environments: RAS, TACACS, HSRP, QoS, VLAN’s, *Bandwidth modeling and VoIP infrastructures

*Ongoing moves, adds, changes to ISE solution (e.g., new device profiles)

*General telecom knowledge: cross connects, wall fields, circuit identification

*Ongoing maintenance and support of solution components (e.g., patching, upgrades, capacity reviews, lifecycle management)

*Experience configuring and troubleshooting SIP, SCCP, H.323 and MGCP voice protocols

*Provide level 3 support for AnyConnect Remote Access related issues , including off-shift and weekend support functions

*Escalating and engaging with L4 vendor support teams

*Engaging across other GIS infrastructure domains to address level 3 AnyConnect support issues (e.g., PKI, Server, Load Balancer, WAN, Web Acceleration, Security, AnyConnect)

*Monitoring and alert management of all components related to the ISE solution (VNOC)

*2+ years designing, deploying, installing, and configuring complex Cisco IPT solutions with Cisco Unified Call Manager clusters, Cisco Unity Connections Voicemail

*High School Diploma with 14 years of experience; Associate Degree and 8 years of relevant work experience; Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of experience. .
