We are seeking an expert manufacturing parts painting/finisher who will apply paint and coatings to military grade specifications on composite materials. Candidates will be responsible for mixing and applying different viscosity paints such as acrylic, lacquer, duco, wrinkle and both urethane and plastic-based products to specific colors, consistencies and viscosities etc.
Required:
*2+ years experience in an marine, aircraft, military parts manufacturing paint shop.
*Able to assist in drying/curing and baking non-standard finishes; adjusting as needed for atmospheric conditions.
*Able to assist in experience with surface masking, mixing epoxies/solvents, regulation of spray guns and bake times depending on humidity, temperature and other conditions.
*Able to read blueprints /process sheets/sketches while working directly with engineers to develop new coating processes.
*Can determine type of finish to be utilized in conformance with military specifications while selecting the method, equipment and tools to complete task.
