We are hiring for a US Army, Cost Program Analyst who will be working on providing cost estimating and analysis for military weapons programs on our contracts.
The position works closely with DASA-CE office (Deputy Secretary of the Army, Cost Estimating) to plan, organize, direct, and conduct weapon system cost estimating, analysis and research in tricky and sensitive areas that typically require thinking outside the box.
Successful candidates will conduct the analysis, estimates, locate funding sources, breakdown/ align cost elements with base year as well as subsequent year estimates. All the functions within this position will assume candidates have strong reporting and communication skills with high level Army staff.
Required:
*5 years’ experience working with an ARMY acquisition project manager function, providing cost estimating and analysis with reporting and briefing ability/skills with high level ARMY officials
*Active Secret Clearance
*10 years Army Project Manager experience
*Must have experience working with DASA, preferably withing the CE (cost estimating) of similar functional area.
*Experience with cost estimating tools used by the ARMY such as the ACE-IT (Army Cost Estimating) tool
*4 year degree; if candidates do not have a degree, need 10-15 years’ experience
