CSS Staffing is seeking a CWI Inspector to inspect welded component parts.  Applicant will inspect weld criteria and dimensional verifications per technical data package requirements.  Applicant is expected to fully understand and have knowledge of LEAN and Six Sigma quality methodologies.

Required:

*5+ years’ experience in welding inspection and quality assurance/quality control. 

*Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)   

*Per diem split available for out of the area applicants; eligible for contractors relocating over 75 miles for this position.

*Ability to read AWS weld code.

AS degree or 10+ years experience without degree 

Preferred: 

*Quality control principles such as Root Cause, TIPQA experience; PFEMA's, A3 Project Analysis: VT Level II

*Government contracting knowledge; MRP system knowledge  

*GD&T experience; portable metrology technology; weld fabrication experience 

*4 year degree
