We are seeking a weekend shift welding shop manufacturing engineer who will work in the plant to solve problems and to monitor welding operations in our military tracked vehicle plant.  Applicant will be working the majority of the time on correcting and troubleshooting any production or quality issues as well as creating and improving production efficiency.

Candidate will be reporting and regularly communicating with supervisors, conducting presentations on findings, perform modelling, conducting technical reviews, proposal / cost contract and reporting preparation assistance, etc.

Much of the  day will be working with inspections of welded undercarriages, so understanding of, AWS, CWI would be great.

Required:
*2 years’ manufacturing, production or plant engineering with hands on welding shop experience. 

*Able to work one of the shifts mentioned, and able to work on site.

*Overtime is expected.

*AS Degree 

Pluses:

*AWS, CWI, VT, PT, UT, MT knowledge

*MIL STD 372, 1261, 1946

*Familiar with vehicle plants, preferable large vehicles; military plant knowledge.

*ISO 9000, AS9100 or LEAN knowledge
